SCHOOL UNIFORM: To be collected from school.
ESCORTS:It is the exclusive responsibility of the guardians to escort the respective ward to and from the school well in time. Transport facility will be available on demand.
EXAMINATION:During one academic session two main periodical examinations under the style, Half Yearly and Annual Examination are held. There are continuous assessments through out the year. like 4 unit Tests.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Programmes like debate, quiz, sports and games, P.T. & Drama recitation, song story telling, NCC are introduced to help manifestation of the dormant traits of our students. Besides, educationa Examination will be conducted.
ASSESSMENT & PROMOTION:Promotion at the end of the year will be based on continuous Assessment in every subject and on the work during the year. For students who are absent for any Assessment/unit test Examination no provision can be made for supplementary tests.
CRITERIA FOR PROMOTION : For promotion the whole year's performance is considered.
Normally a student should pass in all subjects.
Grades: A+ 90-100, A = 80-89, B+= 65-79, B = 50-64, C = 40-63.
REGULARITY RECORD (Absence, Delay, Leave)Regular attendance at school is in the interest of the students. It builds up a sense of devotion duty and a habit for regularity and discipline. The students should arrive on time to school.
Breach of any of the regulations of conduct at examinations or indiscipline in or outside the hall or the use of unfair means, even if discovered subsequently, will meet cancellation of the particular paper and the student concerned will be awarded a zero, and suspended for the rest of the examinations.
In all questions of promotion or failure, the Principal's decision is final.
Reasons for an absence must be entered briefly in the Regularity Record under "Absent column".
Reasons of private nature may always be submitted in a letter.
'Early Departure' is availed when there is an emergency at home or when a student gets sick the school. It is not granted to those who come from home sick.
On their way to and from school, students must behave in a gentle- manly manner with due honour to the nature of the school.
Smoking, chewing pan, chewing gum, betel-nut or tobacco etc.... are strictly forbidden within and outside the school precinct.
Student are not allowed to bring anything unauthorized objects like fancy items such as electronic gadgets (fancy watches, toys, digital diaries, cell phones, cameras, walkman, CD's, pendrive, astrological rings & bangles etc.) belts with stylish buckles and stylish haircut are not permitted & shall be confiscated & school shall not be liable to return. No complaints shall be entertained on this count.
Any damage to school property must be made good by the student concerned. Every student attending school is obliged to take part in co- curricular activities like orientation, symposia, seminars, discus- sions, debates, elocution and other school functions and celebrations organized by the school. Students may be required to stay longer hours. Staying away from mandatory school functions, including Annual Day without prior permission will be considered a major discipline default.
Students must try to speak English within the school campus.
For Parents/Guardians : Parents/guardians retain their right and duties in the education of their children, even though they delegate them in part to the school. The support and collaboration of parents are in all cases considered indispensable for the success of the work of education carried out by the school.
Parents/guardians are requested to co-operate with the school. authorities by :-
   a) urging their wards to be regular and punctual in attendance..
   b) checking the School diary on a regular basis.
   c) seeking that their wards are diligent at their homework and lessons.
   d) not engaging private tutors without consulting the school authorities.
   e) insisting on neatness and cleanliness in their text book exercise-books and personal appearance.
  f) occasionally interviewing the Principal/Teacher to discuss the progress of their wards School authorities will interact with parents &       guardians and not anyone else.
Periodical reports and the Report Cards, will keep parents/guardians informed of the progress of their wards. The reports are to be signed and returned on time. They may avail the time after the examination on a particular day.
Ordinarily communication with parents/guardians is made through the School Calendar & notice board. On the first of every month, the School Calendar for the month should checked by the Parents and signed with the word 'CHECK'
Behavior At School :
1) To write, to draw on the blackboard (except when called upon to do so) to write towards offensive to anyone, to so walls or maps or anything else are things absolutely to be avoided.
2) Take great care of your text books, exercise books and other belongings. Beware of appropriating your neighbour's property even if it be the smallest thing Should you find a lost article give it at once to the Principal.
3) Keep the floor clean by allowing no paper or ink to fall on it.
4) Cleanliness and purity of soul are reflected by a clean and neat exterior.
5) Don't make bad remark of your school-mates or of the discipline or management of the school.
6) Always speak well of your school and of your teachers.
PARENTS PLEASE NOTE
Signature of both Parents / Guardians must be entered in the space provided below. Either of these signature will be the only signature accepted for signing the leave notes. Report cards. regularity records etc. No other signature will be accepted. Parents/Guardians are requested tc come to school to collect the report cards as specified in the school calendar.
REGULARITY RECORD
When the child is absent from school, parents/guardians must write an excuse note to the Principal, in the space given below. Parents/guardians must not allow their son to absent himse from the school for any filmsy reason. If the child is absent more than two days, he must produc a doctor's prescription & certifi-cate to that effect. Attendance on the 1st and last day of an aci demic session or term is compulsory, if a student is absent on the said days, he may be asked to seek readmission in the school.
